I did try hard on this code but I Just ran outta time. Hub Mako from gisborne intermedite went to Tonui colab over the span of 4 weeks we were coding our own games. I wasnt here for a few of the lessons so this is how my unfinished game turned out. {I tend to fix this} here is the link. You can make your own game by going to scratch.com. It is free and you can log in in like 4 clicks. I found it easy to publish all this and I found it diffacult to make and desian my game code.

The Covid-19 lockdown is working in NZ
23 of March 2020 Lockdown alert level 4 kicked us off for the start of a long pandemic known as COVID-19. People have different opinions on if lockdown was a good idea or a bad idea. We had time to learn from other countries mistakes. We had a lower death toll going into lockdown. It also gave everyone a taste of working from home. Now that's just scratching the surface.
New zealand had time to learn from other countries before COVID-19 came to New zealand. For example other countries such as japan got hit with a second wave. New zealand saw this and learnt from Japan's mistakes. Other countries with a similar amount of people failed to do what we did well. Those countries death toll is dramatically more than ours here in New zealand. We will continue observing other countries until we are completely out of this.
Now that everyone has had a taste of working from home it is statistically shown that after people have had a taste of working in the comfort of their homes they have noticed much easier it is then working in a office at a set time. They can move at their own pace. This is amazing because it stops contact with things that other people come into contact with. Ther for reduces the chance of a second wave hitting new Zealand.
We had time to learn from other countries mistakes. It is obvious that New zealand did the right thing by simply observing other countries and going into lockdown early. Those types of little decisions can save lives.

Writing!
Sparkling Far in the Distance...
There was a bright light that stunned me and hurt my eyes!... I slowly stumbled up to it still really confused of what it is! I was desperate for water and food cause I've been in the desert for like 8 days I was gonna die! All I had left with some nut bars and a drip of water! I walked towards it because... why not there's no hope on me doing anything else!
As I got closer I noticed it was shiny with a piece of paper underneath it. I open the piece of paper… it was a map leading to a small village that my Dad told me about when I was little. He told me it was abandoned and there was no one left! but I was going to take my chances and go. I walked over 8 kilometres following the map. I found a small civilized Village! I was surprised so I walked in and i told them that the plane crash and everything! They supplied me with food and water and let me stay until I was rescued. I was so thankful.
About 7 months after that I got picked up and rescued from the place I started to call home! 😜
the end.
This is a quick write that was a given subject from the teacher. So a teacher gives us a sentence starter and we have to elaborate off it!
I have posted this piece of writing because... I thought I used some good vocabulary and starting to get the hang of good punctuation! Also I think that it might just reach level 3!
